This week I finished up the New Super Mario Bros for the Wii. I will tell you right off the bat that I enjoyed this game from start to finish. It stays true to it’s roots and doesn’t disappoint.
Speaking of dissappointments, I have been generally underwhelmed with the Wii since it’s inception. I have really only played through Zelda: Twilight Princess (EXCELLENT!), but other than that there hasn’t been anything that has interested me enough to purchase. Call me old fashion but I prefer button pushing to controller swinging.
With that …
For some reason Brutal Legend became one of the most anticipated games of the year. I was eager to play it, as I had been hearing about it since the E3 convention earlier in the year. I thought it was creative that Jack Black was playing the main character Eddie Riggs and that the game revolved around the music of Metal. Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford, Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford and Tim Curry also leant there likeness and voices to this game which made it even more incredible. The demo was …
I was able to mark something off of my Bucket List today! Although, I would like to take this hobby a bit farther, I was able to complete my very first model of a space shuttle!
When I was a kid, my brother and the little boys in my neighborhood always got to build cool model cars/trucks/boats/airplanes. They started with plastic snap together models, moved up to glue models, then they could paint the models, etc. I was always very jealous. It wasn’t a very girly thing to do. I like …

During the recent shootings here in Downtown Orlando, a man who’s hair is as silver as a nickel and skin is as golden as the sun, swooped into town to save the day. That mans name? Charlie Crist.
Who?
Okay, he didn’t exactly save the day and his skin is more like the rind of an Orange, but good ol’ Charlie Crist is our Governor here in the great state of Florida and NEVER misses an opportunity to have his picture taken (or go on vacation). He is a shining example of …
Lately I have been feeling like a slave to my computer so I decided I needed something (that you do not have to plug into a wall) in order to fill my free time. In my most recent trips to Target I had found myself circling the puzzle aisle like a hawk. Something inside of me was telling me to start a puzzle but for some reason I fought the temptation for many months. It’s only a puzzle but in my mind it’s a statement of who I am as …
It’s that time again. If you read back in my posts, you can see that I have attempted to quit before. During the week that I quit, my grandfather passed away and my cat almost died ($1000 later he was okay). So as you can imagine, i’m walking into this with some fear. The second I hear someone in my family isn’t feeling well or my cat starts making funny noises i’m out. Maybe there is some sort of ancient spell cast on me, so that I must smoke in …
I heard a “joke” once. A man goes to a hotel and gets a room. The hotel employee warns him that the only room left has a guy staying next door that is a bit high-strung so he should be weary not to startle him or make any loud sudden noises. The man says that is fine, as he only needs the room for a few hours to rest. Once in the hotel room, the man quietly starts to undress being careful not to make …
So if you don’t know already, the fountain that graces Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola was struck by lightening the other day and is broken. It’s so sad looking…just a rusty dome sitting in the middle of our beautiful city. I can see this fountain practically from my front yard and have been a neighbor of it for almost the entire 3 years of me living in Orlando. I love this fountain.
With that being said….I realize that there is no easy way to repair it. It’s going …
So I want to start this review out by commenting on some of the reviews I have read about this movie.
#1 being by Roger Moore, the Orlando Sentinels “Movie Reviewer”. Read the article here if you’d like (I wouldn’t give him the hits if I were you, but if you do, please write a comment on the bottom telling him he is worthless): http://www.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment/orl-movie-review-inglourious-basterds,0,4336375.story
So, Roger Moore. I don’t know who this guy is and I don’t really care. The only reason I read the review was because …
Alright, so I was eagerly anticipating the newest large scale upgrade to the Xbox 360 LIVE system. The last upgrade was intense, as it pretty much changed the entire online platform. This upgrade was minimal at best (as was expected, it wasn’t supposed to be anything super great). I wrote a blog a few months back after the E3 convention, listing the ways I would improve the Xbox 360 (I also sent it to Xbox). A majority of improvements were made, however not the way they should …
