Video Game Review: New Super Mario Bros (Wii)

This week I finished up the New Super Mario Bros for the Wii.  I will tell you right off the bat that I enjoyed this game from start to finish.  It stays true to it’s roots and doesn’t disappoint.

Speaking of dissappointments, I have been generally underwhelmed with the Wii since it’s inception.  I have really only played through Zelda: Twilight Princess (EXCELLENT!), but other than that there hasn’t been anything that has interested me enough to purchase.  Call me old fashion but I prefer button pushing to controller swinging.
With that …

Video Game Review: Brutal Legend (Xbox 360)

For some reason Brutal Legend became one of the most anticipated games of the year.  I was eager to play it, as I had been hearing about it since the E3 convention earlier in the year.  I thought it was creative that Jack Black was playing the main character Eddie Riggs and that the game revolved around the music of Metal.  Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford, Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford and Tim Curry also leant there likeness and voices to this game which made it even more incredible.  The demo was …

Xbox360: What HAS changed

Alright, so I was eagerly anticipating the newest large scale upgrade to the Xbox 360 LIVE system. The last upgrade was intense, as it pretty much changed the entire online platform. This upgrade was minimal at best (as was expected, it wasn’t supposed to be anything super great). I wrote a blog a few months back after the E3 convention, listing the ways I would improve the Xbox 360 (I also sent it to Xbox). A majority of improvements were made, however not the way they should …

Alright, so the E3 conference was a few weeks back. It’s where a bunch of gamer nerds get together (Microsofts Xbox, Nintendo, Sony). They discuss new games, new products, new technology and it didn’t fail to excite me.

I got to watch a majority of it live on justin.tv . Which is why I love the internet so much. I wasn’t there, but I got to watch it fricking live. Anyway, so Xbox was first up at the week long conference. They spoke for HOURS…and …

So I have decided to go back to school.  It’s exciting…i’m going to live off student loans and finish everything up.  My original major up north was Business Management.  But I am thinking i’ll have to change that….because by the time i’m out of school their might not be any businesses left for me to “manage”.

So summer classes start in 2 weeks.  I’m trying to organize my house because i’m going to be broke and locking myself in my house and studying for the next year.  The goal is to …
